Chambers County
1PointFive has leased land for a possible carbon sequestration project in Chambers County. In order to confirm the feasibility of this project, we are scheduled to begin drilling a stratigraphic data well in early December.
The purpose of the data well is to collect information about the rock deep below the surface. No carbon injection will occur during the data well operations.
Project Updates
The rig will be moved to the work site in the next few days, and work should take less than three weeks. While a slight and temporary increase in traffic can be expected during operations, our highest priority is to conduct our business in a manner that protects the safety of the community, our employees and the environment. Our drivers are committed to obeying traffic laws, maintaining safe and courteous driving practices, and following a designated haul route.

Project Overview
Drill Data Well
Drilling the data well will take approximately one month and will commence in early December.
Collect Core Rock Samples
As we drill the well, tools will be sent down the well to measure specific properties of the rock, and whole rock samples will be collected.
Analyze Data
Once we have drilled the well to its total depth (TD) and have completed collection of whole core rock samples, we will perform a thorough data analysis over several months to determine the feasibility of sequestration in Chambers County.
